With the need for all video content on social to include captions, we built a set of caption request tools into ShowMS.
Any video uploaded as a caption request progresses through an editorial and review workflow before being delivered to Freeform. The videos are captioned by a member of our content team, reviewed by an internal Captions Coordinator and then sent to a Freeform editor for external review. Whenever a Caption Request is approved by a Freeform editor, an automated email notifies a list of people. This list can managed in the ShowMS admin.
Search and filter tools help users manage caption requests. A full history of every request's status and assigned users can be viewed in the sidebar, as well as any comments or edits.
