ShowMS supports specific programming initiatives with the ability to create custom sections.
As all Section assets and details are uploaded to the platform manually, setting them up doesn't require a VPPO sync. These details control how the Section appears across all devices and areas of the platform.
Similarly to the Freeform homepage, Sections can incorporate rows that house movies, episodes or short-form video content. Articles and clips can also be created within the Section, and go through the same editorial workflows as with shows.
Section functionality has been key to supporting Freeform programming initiatives like 31 Nights of Halloween, Countdown to Christmas and 25 Days of Christmas.
